Aromatic Bead Bracelet Kit - DIY

Make your own bracelet by hand, from a soft scented dough to a finished piece you've shaped one bead at a time.

This is scented jewellery making rooted in an ancient practice, where aromatic powder was pressed into beads and worn close to the skin so the scent stayed with you through the day. In China they're called He Xiang Zhu (合香珠) — harmonious-blend beads — and today they're also known as incense beads or botanical aromatherapy beads. 

The beads take 48 - 72 hours to dry to full strength, so this is a project to enjoy over a few days rather than finish in one sitting. When they're done, the scent sits close at your wrist and lifts as the beads warm.
